From the founder's ring

57 nights on my ring. Every night, from now on.

I travel a lot, and after six years of demanding work across time zones, my sleep has never been regular. Since August my Oura ring has logged 57 of my nights. Every one of my 20 crown nights was a night I'd had Deep Restore. From November, it's with me every night.

One person's experience, not a study: Zenthya's founder, who owns the company. Oura Ring, August 1 – October 22, 2026, 57 nights logged. The card compares her 7 highest-scoring nights (90 or higher), all with Deep Restore, with her 7 lowest (below 75), all without it; the other 43 nights fall in between. Her schedule was not controlled: it included frequent travel, jet lag and weekend nights. Consumer wearables estimate sleep stages and can be off. Your results may vary.*

The formula

What goes into your evening.

Jujube seed (Ziziphus spinosa), reishi, poria and chamomile form the botanical and mushroom foundation of Deep Restore No.21. We pair them with glycine, L-theanine, GABA and magnesium. All amounts are per one 3 g stick. Open a card for the extract details and the research behind it.

  • Jujube seed

The botanical heart of our formula.

    600 mg per stick

    Dried jujube seeds
About the extract and the research: Jujube seed
    The extract
    Ziziphus spinosa seed
    18:1 seed extract
The seed of Ziziphus spinosa, known as jujube seed.
    Why we chose it
Our lead botanical connects Deep Restore No.21 with the herbal traditions that inspired our evening ritual. Its constituents, including jujubosides and spinosin, have been investigated for their interaction with GABA and serotonin signalling.
    What research saysTraditional amount

    10–15 g of seed traditional≈ 10.8 g of seed in one stick

One stick has 600 mg of jujube seed extract made at about 18:1, which works out to roughly 10.8 g of seed. Traditional herbal references list 10 to 15 g of the seed a day, so one stick falls within that range. This card compares amounts only; it does not report a study result.

The 18:1 ratio comes from our supplier's certificate of analysis.

  • Reishi

What research saysStudied at a higher amount

2,000 mg in the study300 mg in one stick

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study in Brazil, women aged 60 to 80 took 2,000 mg a day of a water extract of reishi fruiting body, the same kind of extract we use, for 8 weeks; 39 of the 60 who enrolled finished. In lab tests, their T cells (a type of white blood cell) responded differently from those of the placebo group. Blood counts and body composition did not differ between the groups.

Funded by Cruzeiro do Sul University and Brazilian public research agencies; the authors reported no conflicts of interest.

What research saysStudied at a higher amount

    3 g in the study1 g in one stick

In a small crossover study, 11 adults who had been sleeping poorly took 3 g of glycine or a placebo before bed. They also reported feeling less sleepy during the day.

What research saysSame amount as one stick

200 mg in the study200 mg in one stick

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study, 30 healthy adults took 200 mg of L-theanine before bed each night for four weeks. Compared with placebo, they reported improvements on three parts of a sleep questionnaire, including how long it took to fall asleep. The overall questionnaire score did not differ significantly from placebo.

The study used L-theanine from Taiyo Kagaku, which funded the study; two of the authors worked for the company.

A few things to know

Your questions, answered.

What does it taste like?

It has a mixed-berry flavor. The full ingredient list includes natural flavor, monk fruit extract, and citric and malic acids.

Does it contain melatonin?

No melatonin is added. Some plants, including jujube seed, can contain tiny natural amounts of melatonin. We haven't measured it in our extract, so we say "no added melatonin" and nothing stronger. Explore the full ingredient list and amounts.

Can I take it with medications or other supplements?

From our label: consult your physician before use if you are taking medication (especially sedatives, blood thinners or blood-pressure medication) or have a medical condition. If you already use melatonin or another sleep product, ask your doctor or pharmacist before combining them. Each stick has 30 mg of elemental magnesium; if you take a magnesium supplement, count it in your daily total.

What if I'm pregnant or nursing?

From our label: consult your physician before use if you are pregnant or nursing. If you are planning a pregnancy, we suggest asking your doctor too. Deep Restore No.21 is not intended for children.

Can I drive after taking it?

Take it in the evening, once you're done driving for the day. As our label says, use caution when driving or operating machinery after use.

What if it doesn't agree with me?

From our label: discontinue use and consult a doctor if adverse reactions occur.

How soon will I notice a difference?

Everyone is different, so we won't promise a timeline. Take one stick each evening as part of winding down; one pack covers 21 evenings. If you have persistent sleep concerns, talk to your doctor.

When will my pre-order ship?

Deep Restore No.21 pre-orders ship November 1st 2026. This is the expected shipping time, not the delivery date. Delivery time depends on your destination and carrier.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund before it enters fulfillment. Email info@zenthya.com with your order number. Once it enters fulfillment or has shipped, our Refund & Return Policy applies.

What is your satisfaction guarantee?

Eligible first-time purchases made directly through Zenthya.com are covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. A simple record of your evenings and mornings while you build a nightly routine. Same device, or the paper log, every night.

Sleep moves from week to week with your schedule, light, caffeine, alcohol, travel and the seasons. A log can show you what changed. It can't tell you why.

How to use this log

  1. Before you start

Choose one device and keep it.

Wear the same ring, watch or headband every night, or use the paper log. Different devices measure sleep differently, so switching midway makes your weeks hard to compare.

  2. Week 1 · Baseline

Note a week of your usual nights.

For seven nights, write down when you went to bed, how rested you felt in the morning (1 to 5), and how often you remember waking. You can start before your box arrives.

  3. Weeks 2–4 · Deep Restore

Keep logging while you take one stick a day, as directed on the label.

One line each morning is enough.

What to look at

  • Weekly averages, not single nightsHow rested you felt, and how often you remember waking.

  • Device numbers are estimatesThey vary between devices, so compare your weeks on the same one.

  • Use sleep-stage % as a referenceEstimates such as "deep sleep %" vary between devices, so don't rely on them alone. Pay attention to how recovered you feel, too.
